AUSTIN, Texas — Austinites hitting the gym may want to think twice about what they’re putting in their lockers.
The Austin Police Department (APD) wants gym-goers to get ahead of an emerging crime trend that involves people signing up for temporary gym memberships, such as day passes, all for the purpose of stealing personal items from locker rooms.
