AUSTIN (Austin Business Journal) — Franklin Barbecue will finally be serving its famous barbecue outside of the small joint’s walls — but only if you’re invited to the party.
Aaron Franklin, one of Austin’s most notable chefs, is opening an events space with his wife, Stacy Franklin. The co-owners are taking over the former Contigo and Redbud Ice House space in east Austin at 2027 Anchor Lane, and they’re turning it into an events venue that can host larger parties than currently possible at Franklin Barbecue.
