The manhunt is on for 28-year-old Olmer Lopez, named as the main suspect in a fatal incident that took place in the early hours of August 31 at an apartment complex near Manor, just off E. Parmer Lane in Travis County, officials announced. The victim, identified by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) as Yury Bobadilla, age 33, was found critically injured after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance call precipitated by reports of loud arguments and apparent physical conflict.
Despite immediate CPR efforts by deputies and subsequent emergency care provided by Austin-Travis County EMS, Bobadilla succumbed to her injuries after being transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 4:22 a.m.; witness accounts, along with surveillance footage, suggested that Bobadilla was violently assaulted by Lopez, later identified as her ex-boyfriend, who not only engaged in physical abuse but also is accused of pushing her into the path of an oncoming vehicle before fleeing the scene, this forced the officers to issue a warrant for his arrest and the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force has since been pursuing Lopez…
