SAN MARCOS, TX – Hays County Criminal District Attorney Kelly Higgins announced that Cameron Moore, 44, formerly of Bexar County, was convicted Friday of burglary of a habitation with felonious intent, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, tampering with a witness, and endangering a child.
The conviction was handed down on September 19, 2025, by Hays County District Court Judge Sherri Tibbe, who sentenced Moore to life in prison.
Moore has a violent history with the same victim. In 2019, he was prosecuted for aggravated kidnapping, attempted capital murder, stalking, and violation of a protective order. Evidence presented at trial revealed that Moore placed a GPS tracker on the victim’s vehicle, followed her to a police station, and then strangled her in the parking lot.
