Texas sports and fan culture outlet @RedCupTexas posted a video earlier this week that began as a “Kiss, Marry, Kill” challenge ranking UT players Taaffe, Arch Manning and Parker Livingstone, and ended with a gush fest over Taaffe.
“Dude, I gotta kiss Taaffe bro,” one fan said, before reversing course. “Sorry, marry him. Those beautiful, gazing blue eyes he has just, I love them.” Some applied a bit more strategy to their answers, with one fan saying he’d marry Manning “for the money” before divorcing him and returning him to Taaffe. Others knew their heart’s desire from the get-go, and its destiny lied with No. 16.
“I definitely have to marry Michael Taaffe, because what a guy. What a guy,” a fan reiterated. Pivoting strategies, Red Cup Texas began asking fans what made Taaffe “marriage material” — and suitors came prepared…
