Laredo lawyer Ronald Rodriguez to lead first-of-its-kind trial law class at UT Austin

The University of Texas School of Law will offer a first-of-its-kind course on Texas personal-injury trial practice this fall, led by Laredo native Ronald Rodriguez and built around a 700-page textbook he authored.

“UT Law gave me the foundation to succeed as a trial lawyer,” Rodriguez said. “To return and teach the first course in Texas dedicated to personal-injury trial law is another great honor in my career.”

The course, Texas Personal Injury Trial Law, will guide students through a case from intake to appeal, emphasizing Texas rules and courtroom strategy.
