Sept. 24 (UPI) — Animal control officers in Texas relocated a window-shopping porcupine found snooping in the bushes outside of a Round Rock-area shopping center.
The Round Rock Police Department said on social media that personnel responded to the La Frontera shopping center last week when shoppers “weren’t the only ones browsing for deals.”
“What was first reported as a raccoon sighting turned out to be a porcupine hiding in the bushes outside the shopping center,” the post said.
Animal control officers “carefully escorted the prickly patron back to its natural habitat — no receipt required.”…
