AUSTIN (KXAN) — Groups banded together on Thursday at the Hays County Courthouse, demanding the reinstatement of Texas State professor Dr. Thomas Alter, who was fired after his statements he made at a conference earlier this month.
Alter was accused of “inciting violence in a video of him speaking at a socialism conference posted on social media,” according to The Texas Tribune.
