Austin neighbors, police connect at National Night Out to build trust, address concerns

AUSTIN, Texas — Neighbors across Austin stepped outside Tuesday night to meet the people who protect their streets.

It’s part of National Night Out — an annual event aimed at building trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
