AUSTIN, Texas — An Austin couple has filed a lawsuit against the construction company behind ATX Tower, alleging that they were injured by falling glass from the high-rise project in downtown Austin earlier this year.
The incident occurred on March 15 near West Sixth Street and Guadalupe, where the ATX Tower has been under construction. According to the lawsuit, J.E. Aranda and his wife were walking nearby when a large glass panel fell from the building and pieces struck them.
“Very frightening,” Aranda said. “Never thought in a million years glass would be falling from a high rise building.”…
