Two Suspects Arrested in Connection with Austin Woman’s Murder; Third Held by Local Authorities

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested two Mexican nationals, Jesus Llamas-Yanez and Javier Roman Hernandez, on October 8, 2025. The arrests are related to the murder of Mary Gonzales, 43, in Austin, Texas.

Gonzales was found shot in a wooded area behind a local business. ICE also placed an immigration detainer on a third suspect, Enrique Gomez-Urbina, 21. Gomez-Urbina was arrested by local authorities on a first-degree murder charge.
