It’s no secret that Texans have a lot of pride for their home state, and others seem to be catching on. A historic Texas neighborhood has been named to a 2025 ranking of the coolest neighborhoods globally.
Time Out released its roundup of the 39 best neighborhoods in the world, with featured areas praised for their old-school roots, blend of arts, culture and architecture, delicious food and drink offerings and independent business scenes.
“Put simply, the world’s coolest neighbourhoods are places that represent the soul of our cities, while maintaining their own unique local character that draws people in to live, work and play,” the report read.
Landing at No. 33 on the list is Austin’s Clarksville neighborhood, a historic piece of Texas’ capital city and the only Lone Star State location to make the list.
