Chick-fil-A is currently testing a couple of new menu items in some franchise locations this month, and fans nationwide are already craving a taste of their own.
After much buzz on social media thanks to popular food creator @snackolator, fans of the popular fried chicken chain who know a thing or two about the franchise’s desserts have begun petitioning for the nationwide launch of the S’mores Milkshake and S’mores Frosted Coffee. But patience may need to be their virtue, as the two campfire-inspired dessert beverages are only being tested at select restaurant locations in Austin, Texas.

What We Know About S’mores Milkshake and Frosted Coffee Flavor, Chick-fil-A’s Latest Menu Test Items
Summer may be over, but the roasted, toasted flavors signature to s’mores, the ever-classic roasted marshmallow-chocolate-graham cracker treat, are eternal in Chick-fil-A’s s’mores drink menu items. The S’mores Frosted Coffee is as delightful as it sounds. The hand-spun frozen coffee beverage is a blend of cold-brewed coffee and Chick-fil-A’s proprietary Icedream frozen dessert mixed with a toasted marshmallow-flavored syrup and fudge-covered graham cracker pieces, according to an official description on the Chick-fil-A site.
If you want to tap into nostalgia without the coffee buzz, Chick-fil-A’s S’mores Milkshake runs in the same direction as the Frozen Coffee but on a different, equally delicious path. The milkshake also starts with a base made with Icedream, which is spun up with the same additions, minus the coffee: toasted marshmallow-flavored syrup and fudge-covered graham cracker pieces. Only here does the drink get topped with a toasted marshmallow-flavored whipped topping before the order is up. According to @snackolator, the two s’mores-themed drinks began a test run at locations in the Austin, Texas, market on Oct. 27, and it will run through Nov. 10 while supplies last…
