Affidavit: Woman shot with BB gun and handcuffed outside South Austin home

AUSTIN, Texas — A woman found handcuffed outside a South Austin home on Oct. 30 had also been shot with a BB gun, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by KVUE.

Austin police said they were called to the 1700 block of Bitter Creek Drive that evening for a welfare check after a caller reported seeing a woman handcuffed to a “workout apparatus” and trapped at a fence gate. The caller also said the woman was “screaming for help” and claimed she was naked from the waist down.

When officers arrived, they found the victim handcuffed to exercise equipment, visibly distressed and showing signs of prolonged restraint, the affidavit stated. Five people were seen exiting the home and were subsequently detained…
