AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two people were arrested, including a 32-year-old woman, in connection with an Amber Alert issued Tuesday night, according to the Austin Police Department.
Police identified the woman as Kayla Washington. She was arrested on kidnapping charges, as well as “an unrelated warrant.” She was booked into the Travis County Jail, per a news release from APD.

The second person was identified by police as 28-year-old Avery Rider, who was arrested for resisting arrest.
Attorney details were not available for Rider or Washington as of Wednesday. KXAN will update this article if that changes.
