A social media user recently shared their frustrating experience with the Department of Public Safety (DPS) in Texas. The user, who had been living out of state for 15 years, was denied a driver’s license renewal due to unresolved tickets from 23 years ago. Despite paying the $700 fine and receiving confirmation that the tickets were closed, the user was still unable to renew their license.
