After the exciting upset over Texas A&M on Friday, the AP voters have decided to move the Longhorns up to No.14 in the recent poll update. Despite only moving up two spots, it’s still a fairly “large” move at this point in the year.
They’re ahead of both Utah, who got their 10th win of the season but just missed out on locking up a spot in the BIG12 Championship Game, and Virginia who did clinch a spot in the ACC Championship Game this weekend.

Now, it’s a waiting game to find out the what’s going to happen for the Longhorns in the postseason. Realistically, Texas will probably just play in a higher-end bowl game, but there’s still a small chance for them to make it into the College Football Playoffs…
