SAN MARCOS, Texas – A 21-year-old Austin man described as one of the largest fentanyl suppliers operating in Hays County has been sentenced to decades in prison.
The Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office announced that Izaac Elmore-Carson was sentenced on December 2, 2025, to 40 years in prison for delivery of fentanyl and 20 years for possession with intent to deliver heroin. The sentences will run concurrently.
Elmore-Carson pleaded guilty back on September 22, 2025, but opted to have District Judge Bruce Boyer decide his punishment. The possible range was 10 to 50 years. During Monday’s sentencing hearing, prosecutors laid out evidence that Elmore-Carson supplied fentanyl to multiple dealers across Hays County.
