Austin ranked as the most expensive city to rent in the metro area. Here’s which city came in second

AUSTIN, Texas — Apartment finder website Zumper has released its December rent report for the Austin area, and the Capital City has again ranked as the most expensive place to rent.

Zumper said the price of one-bedroom units in Austin grew 2% to a median of $1,500, while two-bedroom units increased 1% to $2,000.

Leander had the second-priciest rent, with a median cost of $1,240 for a one-bedroom unit, while Cedar Park and Georgetown tied for third with median rents at $1,230…
