North Austin road rage case ends in 30-year prison sentence

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was sentenced Dec. 2 in connection with a fatal road rage shooting that occurred Sept. 4, 2021, in north Austin.

According to Travis County court documents, 35-year-old Tony McCullough was sentenced to serve 30 years in prison on a first-degree manslaughter charge.

Court records showed McCullough pleaded guilty to murder, but was ultimately convicted of the lesser charge of manslaughter.
