AUSTIN, Texas — City of Austin officials say fewer people are being hurt by cars making left turns at more than a dozen intersections.
On Monday, Austin Transportation and Public Works (TPW) released results from a pilot program launched a year-and-a-half earlier. They showed a 46% drop in left-turn crashes involving pedestrians compared to the average from the past five years.
