Travis County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help in Search for Missing Woman with Cognitive Impairment

The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the public seeking assistance in the case of a missing woman, Guadalupe Atonal-Hernandez, age 25, from southern Travis County. According to a press release from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, Atonal-Hernandez, who has been diagnosed with a cognitive impairment that warrants concern for her safety, was last seen in the early hours of December 15.

Officials describe Atonal-Hernandez as a Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes, standing at 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. It’s essential to promptly share any information that may help locate her. She was reported last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue jean shorts, and sandals. Because of her cognitive condition, her mental faculties are likened to those of a preschool-aged child; she speaks Spanish predominantly and may struggle to fully communicate.
