A late-night stabbing in a quiet Pflugerville neighborhood left a man dead and a 30-year-old Austin resident facing a murder charge early Sunday, according to local authorities. Deputies and Pflugerville police responding to a 911 call in the 14900 block of Lipton Lane just after midnight found a man in his 40s with multiple stab wounds. Despite life-saving efforts at the scene, the victim died a short time later. Officials identified the suspect as 30-year-old Faran Abdolrahimi, who was booked into the Travis County Jail.
