Texas is known for doing things big-and in 2026, that includes adding a brand-new Formula One racing-inspired theme park to the mix.
Called COTALAND, the park is being developed next to Circuit of the Americas, the U.S. home of Formula One racing outside Austin. When fully open, COTALAND is expected to span about 30 acres and feature roughly 30 attractions, blending high-speed thrills with racing-themed experiences and family-friendly rides. The full park is currently slated to open in 2026.
While most of COTALAND is still under construction, one major attraction is already operating in a limited way. Circuit Breaker, the park’s headline roller coaster, began running in October during select concerts, races and special events at Circuit of the Americas.
