AUSTIN, Texas — Austin Police detectives are requesting the public’s help in identifying a female suspect linked to a credit card abuse incident.
On Friday, October 24th, 2025, a victim staying at the Hampton Inn for work discovered that their hotel room had been burglarized and several credit cards had been fraudulently used at multiple retail locations.
Surveillance footage revealed a female suspect using the victim’s credit card at Walmart and Murphy’s gas station on E. Ben White Boulevard, as well as at a CVS Pharmacy on E. Riverside Drive, among other retail locations…
