AUSTIN (KXAN) — Sunday was the last day of spring-like temps for the remainder of the year in Central Texas, with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.
Cold Front Arrives
Strong cold front arrived this evening, winds will continue to gust up to 45+ mph at times overnight with temperatures steadily dropping.
A Wind Advisory is in effect from this evening through tomorrow afternoon.
Temperatures out the door tomorrow morning will be much-cooler in the 30s and 40s. Winds will stay breezy so wind chills will remain near-or-below freezing. Make sure to bundle up!
Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 40s and low 50s with mostly cloudy skies.
New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day
Temperatures climb through the week, with 60s and 70s back in the forecast by New Year’s. Rain chances are minimal beyond Monday.
