BUDA — Adriana Alaniz could not shake the feeling that something was amiss.
She’d experienced a normal pregnancy, and a medical evaluation of her newborn son, Elijah, didn’t raise any concern among his doctors. When he experienced feeding issues shortly after he arrived home, doctors dismissed them as normal.
