As the new year kicks off, the Austin Animal Center is on a mission to help as many adoptable animals as possible find their perfect families. Leading the charge is Salchicha, a special pup with a lot of love to give.
Kimberly White Erlinger from the Austin Animal Center shared some insights about this charming canine.
“Salchicha is a delightful dog who loves to play and snuggle,” said Erlinger. She added that Salchicha would thrive in a home with a family that enjoys outdoor activities and has a cozy spot for her to relax. “Her favorite things include playing fetch and going for long walks.”
With New Year’s Eve festivities around the corner, Erlinger also offered some crucial fireworks safety tips for pet owners. “Keep your pets indoors and create a safe, quiet space for them to retreat to,” she advised. She also urges pet parents to ensure their furry family members are microchipped and have current tags in case they become lost.
