AUSTIN (KXAN) — Spanish-speaking residents can now use the Austin 3-1-1 mobile app entirely in Spanish, according to a release from the city of Austin.
City officials announced on Tuesday that the expansion is expected to provide access to municipal services for one of the city’s largest language communities.
The updated app will allow users to navigate city department information, submit service requests and receive follow-up updates in Spanish from start to finish. City leaders said in the release that the update is part of a broader push to make Austin services easier to access for all residents.
