AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Police Oversight said in a Thursday press release that it wants the public to help it improve resources explaining “community members’ rights during police encounters.”
“Community input is essential to building trust and accountability,” said APO Director Gail McCant. “These focus groups allow residents to share their experiences and perspectives so that Know Your Rights resources truly serve the people they are meant to support.”
