AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police have identified the pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run in north Austin on Monday.
Police say 60-year-old Donna Michelle Hanson was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by a car around 2 a.m. on Monday morning near 900 E. Koenig Lane.
The suspect fled the scene; police say several car parts were left behind, and that they are consistent with a 1998-2000 BMW 323. A witness told police the vehicle was dark in color, and that it was traveling eastbound on Koenig Lane…
