Homegrown Austin breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot Phoebe’s Diner is preparing to expand to its fourth location. This time, it’s headed to Southwest Austin, where it will replace The Local at 9901 Brodie Lane.
“The goal is, we’re trying to get open in March, before spring break,” co-owner and executive chef Camden Stuerzenberger told What Now on Friday, who says the location will require relatively minimal renovations. “It’s got good bones. The kitchen is great. Basically, we’re just going to make it look like a Phoebe’s.”
The Phoebe’s menu features categories like Rise & Shine, a selection of breakfast choices like Biscuits & Gravy, Bananas Foster French Toast, and ricotta buttermilk pancakes. Then there are Sandwiches & Burgers like the Brisket Sandwich, the Crab Cake Club, the Diner Burger, and the Fried Green Tomato BLT.
