ROUND ROCK, Texas — A Round Rock couple narrowly avoided a collision Monday night when another vehicle lost control on ice-covered I-45, dashcam video shows.
Paula Lambe and her husband Richie were driving eastbound on I-45 just near the Parmer Lane exit around 9 p.m. when a car in the left lane began sliding on ice and spinning toward their vehicle. Richie swerved to avoid the out-of-control car, according to video Paula posted on Facebook.
The incident occurred as the couple was returning from Richie’s birthday dinner. After the near-miss, they pulled over to stay with the driver of the vehicle that crashed, whom Paula described as “very shaken up.”…
