When trying to find the best place to eat in a new city, it’s usually best to ask a local. No one knows the city better and luckily nowadays their answers can be easily found online. Yelp is highlighting Central Texas foodies’ favorite hidden gems in its Top 100 Restaurants list.
Four Austin-area eateries made the restaurant ranking app’s 2026 list, which features the best diners, food halls, cafes and more from across the country. Out of the 100 top-rated nationwide restaurants on the list, only 17 are in Texas.
To round up the most-loved businesses, Yelp ranked spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews from its users. Yelp’s 13th annual list also identified trends they’re seeing in the new year which led to some of these Austin-area stand outs…
