AUSTIN, Texas — Best Dish Yet! is back, taking food lovers on another delicious journey through some of the city’s most crave-worthy spots.
For this edition, Sierra Waggoner and Trevor Scott stopped by NADC Burger, pairing bold flavors with refreshing, non-alcoholic craft beers from Best Day Brewing.
NADC Burger’s story begins with an unlikely duo — professional skateboarder Neen Williams and Michelin-starred chef Phillip Frankland Lee — whose friendship was built on skate sessions and time in the kitchen.
“He’s a professional skateboarder who’s an amateur cook, and I’m a professional chef who’s an amateur skateboarder — that’s how we became friends,” Lee said. “We would skate and we would cook. This was never supposed to be a business. We started roasting whole pigs, making steaks, and then we made a burger and liked it. We made another burger and liked it again.”…
