KXAN (AUSTIN) — Two northbound I-35 ramps in Austin will close beginning Sunday as crews prepare for a major reconstruction work on the Lady Bird Lake bridge, according to a post made on X by the Texas Department of Transportation.
TxDOT said the Riverside Drive exit (233) and the Holly Street entrance ramp and exit (234A) will shut down on Feb.1, as part of the ongoing I-35 Capital Express Central project. Drivers heading northbound are advised to exit early at Woodland Avenue (232B) or use the Cesar Chavez Street exit (234B) to reach the frontage road.
