AUSTIN, Texas — A new $25 million pedestrian and bicycle bridge over Lady Bird Lake is about to open, and KVUE got a first look ahead of this weekend’s grand opening.
The Wishbone Bridge, located near Pleasant Valley Road and Longhorn Dam in East Austin, is designed to improve safety and connectivity for people walking and biking across the lake. The project also completes the full 10-mile loop of the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail.
