LBJ High School placed on ‘secure’ Thursday after nearby stabbing

AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person was taken to the hospital Thursday after being stabbed near a bus stop in east Austin, according to the CapMetro Transit Police Department.

Police said the incident occurred around 10:20 a.m. at a bus stop on Pecan Brooke Drive near LBJ Early College High School.

According to police, the stabbing victim received non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the investigation was ongoing, and a suspect has not yet been arrested in connection with the stabbing.
