AUSTIN (KXAN) — Authorities are investigating after a third-party contractor working during the construction of the Samsung Taylor semiconductor plant died Wednesday morning, a spokesperson with Samsung Electronics said.
The company did not disclose how the incident happened.
The company said that site and community emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene following the incident. Samsung and all on-site parties were cooperating with local authorities and agencies while they conduct an investigation, Samsung said.
