Man charged with terroristic threat after allegedly threatening to shoot up bar in northwest Austin

AUSTIN, Texas — A man is facing two felony charges following an incident that occurred in North Austin earlier this month.

According to court documents obtained by KVUE, officers responded to a call at Dorzon International Lounge/D2.0 Bar just after 4 a.m. on Feb. 8. The caller told police that a man had been involved in an altercation with a security guard and was threatening to shoot up the business.

Police arrived and observed a man, identified as 23-year-old Angel Rodriguez, walking toward a vehicle with two security guards following behind him. Police say that Rodriguez was being verbally abusive and yelling profanities toward the guards…
