LINDALE, Texas — East Texas native and country music star Miranda Lambert is among four people who will be inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Association Hall of Fame.
Lambert will be added to the Hall of Fame along with Don Cook, Keith Gattis and George Strait on Feb. 21 at ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin. This year will be the 20th anniversary of the awards show.
In addition to writing her own songs, Lambert shared in a Facebook post that she has co-written songs for several country music artists, including the recently, chart-topping “Choosin’ Texas” sung by Ella Langley. Songs that Lambert have contributed to include:
- “Outrunnin’ Your Memory” sung and co-written by Luke Combs featuring Lambert
- “Good Horses” sung and co-written by Lainey Wilson featuring Lambert
- “The Lost” sung and co-written by Jelly Roll
- “Thought You Should Know” sung by Morgan Wallen
- “What Am I Gonna Do” sung and co-written by Chris Stapleton
- “Falling Apart” sung and co-written by Parker McCollum
- “We’re Good at Breaking Up” sung and co-written by Brothers Osborne
- “Choosin’ Texas” sung and co-written by Ella Langley
- “Don’t Blame It On the Whiskey” sung by Jon Pardi featuring Lauren Alaina
