Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) has opened the West Infill project, a major addition to the Barbara Jordan Terminal. The expansion adds over 75,000 square feet across four levels and includes a new TSA Checkpoint that will begin operations on February 23, 2026.
Part of the airport’s ongoing Journey With AUS program, the West Infill improves passenger experience and operational efficiency for more than 21 million travelers each year, reaching this milestone five years ahead of projections in the AUS 2040 Master Plan.
