Mass shooting in downtown Austin as at least 10 people injured with 17 shots fired

An active shooter has been reported at the Green Light Bar in Austin, TX, which has led to a mass shooting in downtown Austin. People were said to be running from the scene as police arrived.

Gunshots were also heard being fired at Buford’s on the 700 block of West 6th Street, which prompted an evacuation. More than 10 people have reportedly been injured in the shooting at the intersection of 6th Street and Rio Grande.

One witness said that 17 shots were fired, according to X. While the shooting is yet to be confirmed by authorities, plenty of witnesses have spoken about the incident on social media…
