AUSTIN, Texas — New details have emerged in a deadly shooting outside a North Austin 7‑Eleven that happened in October 2025.
According to Austin police, 32‑year‑old Caleb “Rich” Jenkins was arrested Jan. 26 in Sacramento, California, on a murder charge in connection with the shooting death of 37‑year‑old Quinton Arnold. Jenkins was extradited to the Travis County Jail on Feb. 18.
Police said officers found Arnold on Oct. 12, 2025, lying next to his vehicle with a gunshot wound outside the 7‑Eleven at 1822 Rutland Drive. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died…
