13-year-old Kason is ready for a family to call his own

ROUND ROCK, Texas — Every week on KVUE Daybreak, we feature children in the Texas foster care system with the hope of helping them find a permanent place to call home.

For many children navigating the Texas foster care system, the weight of waiting can be heavy. But for 13-year-old Kason, the best way to handle that weight is to stay light on his feet.

Kason is a 7th grader with a passion for movement. Whether he is playing outdoors or caught in a blur of motion under the bright lights of the Altitude Trampoline Park in Round Rock, he is constantly looking for a way to get airborne.
