AUSTIN, Texas — A Travis County special grand jury has declined to indict an Austin police officer in connection with a 2025 officer-involved shooting that left a man dead.
The Travis County District Attorney’s Office said the grand jury cleared Austin Police Officer Joshua Jackson after reviewing the May 17, 2025, shooting of Danny Lee Palomino.
