James Talarico’s now-scrubbed endorsement page raises questions among GOP

State Rep. James Talarico, who recently clinched the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate, reportedly wiped all of the endorsements from his campaign page following his primary victory.

An archived version of Talarico’s campaign site featured support from the Houston LGBTQ+ Political Caucus, the 134 PAC—advocates for Rural Texas Democrats—Stonewall Democrats, Mothers Against Greg Abbott and the Waco chapter of Indivisible, among other Democratic groups, as well as endorsements from Texas news outlets, including the American-Statesman.

The latest version of Talarico’s page wiped all such endorsements off the site:

Townhall, a conservative news site, first reported the scrubbing of the endorsements. Notably, the publication referred to support from the “most radical of Texas outlets” and “far-left organizations across the state.” The article also featured clips of Talarico’s past remarks that conservatives have widely used to criticize him in the wake of his primary win.
