Three people were taken to a hospital — including one with life-threatening injuries — after a stabbing on a Capital Metro bus Friday afternoon in South Austin, authorities said.
Just after 1:30 p.m., officers and medics responded to a stabbing call on the bus in the 2000 block of South Lamar Boulevard, according to the Austin Police Department. Austin-Travis County EMS took two victims to local hospitals, where one remains in critical condition. A second victim was in serious condition but did not have life-threatening wounds, officials said.
