Dale Cole opened First Community Bank with a mission beyond building wealth. As chairman and CEO, Cole’s mission has remained steadfast: “To serve our customers with integrity, personal service and genuine care.”
After attending the University of Texas in Austin, Cole began working with his father in real estate, but after welcoming his children, Jonathan and Catherine, Cole shifted from his real estate career to a career in banking. Starting at a smaller bank, Texas Banking Trust, in 1974 is what Cole called “getting his feet wet.”
Cole navigated different roles with several Texas banks; however, he received a call in 1997 that would bring him and his family to the Natural State, where he would start and open First Community Bank as one of the organization’s founding members…
