From February 6 through May 31, 2026, CapMetro Routes 3, 10, 201, and 801 southbound will follow a detour because of construction near Slaughter and IH‑35 southbound frontage in Austin. Buses will travel from Slaughter, turn left on IH‑35 northbound frontage, left on William Cannon, and left on IH‑35 southbound frontage before returning to their regular route. No stops will be missed, but riders should expect significant delays on Route 801. Plan extra time for your trip during this period.
